1) By submitting this application for membership of the AMCA, I acknowledge my obligation to comply with all federal and state or territory laws, regulations and guidelines that relate to medicinal cannabis and to my involvement or interest in the medicinal cannabis industry in Australia.

2) I undertake to promote AMCA’s vision and objectives to establish a medicinal cannabis industry that provides high-quality, affordable patient access to medicinal cannabis.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

Ordinary Members (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, NFP, Copper) – entitled to vote

Individual or organisation

Must support and have specific expertise to further the objects of AMCA; or be directly involved in the cultivation and production of medicinal cannabis; research involving medicinal cannabis; the manufacture and supply of medicinal cannabis products; advocating for access to medicinal cannabis; or education relating to medicinal cannabis

Associate Members – not entitled to vote

Individual or organisation

Must have objects or purposes which include functions associated with the Australian medicinal cannabis industry

Compassionate (Affiliate) Members – not entitled to vote

Individual membership

Must have an interest in the objects of AMCA

Only for individuals on low- or no-income and / or financially challenged

Membership Applications

Applicants must agree to be bound by the Constitution and Code of Conduct of the AMCA and to comply with all federal and state or territory laws, regulations and guidelines

Membership fees

Membership fees are payable in advance for a 12 month period, once the application has been approved by the Board of Directors.

Membership entitlements

Cannot be transferred to another person and terminate on cessation of the membership.

Membership may be cancelled if:

  • provides either verbal or written notification to the General Manager
  • no longer satisfies the criteria for its respective class of membership
  • fails to pay an annual subscription within thirty (30) days after it falls due
  • fails obligation to comply with all federal and state or territory laws, regulations and guidelines

Refund policy

Membership fees are non-refundable. Upgrades are available anytime – just the difference in level costs need to be paid.

CCA (originally SCCAC) was founded by AMCA in November 2020 to provide a forum for HCPs wanting to learn, share and work together for the good of patients-in-need.
